Červená Čiapočka
is a paper theatre adaption of the classic children’s story Little Red Riding Hood performed entirely in Slovak.
In a brilliant effort to bring theatre and Slovak language to the homes of children from the Czech and Slovak Community and School Bristol CIC and beyond, Lucia Huskova has created the Paper Theatre Bristol. This is her first show designed, narrated, performed, filmed and edited entirely by her.
Lucia is a Bristol-based artist and runs regular art classes for children. She is also the artistic soul behind CSCS Bristol CIC where she also runs a very successful Slovak pre-school.
The premiere of this enchanting piece narrated by Lucia’s beautiful captivating voice was on Zoom on 31st March 2021 exclusively to children and their families from the Czech and Slovak Community and School Bristol CIC.
The creation of this wonderful project has been possible thanks to the financial support from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery Community Fund.
